I don't know what is the situation in the U.S.. In China, write a paper to get a bachelor degree is not as strict as a master or doctor. You can research and cite more information and write them down in your paper. But there still has rate that how many words you write and how many words are from other books. You also should mark where these resouces come from. We don't need give credit to the authors of the original resources. Because we can find almost all the information in school library and school database. Maybe school has already give credit to the authors.
However, if you don't mark your resources, that will be very severe. That is cheating. You may be fired and reported to the whole school. Also there is some information about your cheat in your files.

Good job Qinze! Thank you for sharing your experience. I think you will find that our experience is similar to what you will need to do for your classes in the United States.
ReplyDeleteHey! Good job Qinze! :) Yes, I also think you have similar rules in doing a research paper in the US. In academic fields, it seems to be universal to present where the source cited is from.
